Rocky Point East | BLM – Susanville, CA

Sites are down 1.5 miles of rocky, dirt road- worth it. There were a few people in and out during our week-long stay in September, but it was mostly peaceful and quiet. – Unknown_Normal

Forest Road 688 | Kaibab National Forest – Grand Canyon, AZ

We arrived a day after a storm dropped a fair amount of snow in the area which was great! It was free and beautiful… – Chris C

Valley of Fire State Park – Overton, NV

Great sites, great views. The park in general is beautiful, well taken care of and great staff. This is my absolute favorite place near Las Vegas. – Neske

French Quarter Public Parking – New Orleans, LA

Cop was patrolling parking lot for first 3 hours we were there so we felt safe and police station was right around block. Can’t ask for anything better that close to Bourbon Street! – CaraOstara

Angels in Goliad RV Park – Goliad, TX

The spots are huge and level, paved in pea gravel. Most of the spots are pull-through, and there are several that have decent shade beneath very large oak trees. – Reed & Liz

The Steps | State Trust Land – Lake Havasu City, AZ

State land permit state you can stay 7 days but we noticed people had been there much longer. The higher you go the more of Lake Havasu you can see. We loved it there and will definitely go back. – TumbleweedDenise

Shelter Point Campground | Glendo State Park – Glendo, WY

We had a perfect site up on a hill overlooking the lake. A stunning place with gorgeous views all around! The reservoir was so cool and clean for swimming. – Cristina_Serenity

Midway Park Campground | Waco Lake Recreation Area – Waco, TX

We loved our stay! Our site #1 was a long back in with a beautiful view of Lake Waco and sunsets. The non-sewer sites were spaced out nicely with plenty of space between sites. – ketah777

Kessler Peak Road | Mojave National Preserve – Cima, CA

This is a great little series of sites just the right distance off the road. Quiet, private, but not a big hassle to get to; nestled among the Joshua trees and the big rocks. – String

Fort De Soto Park Campground | County Park – Saint Petersburg, FL

This campground really is magical. Even though we spent most of our stay working from our site, it was so beautiful and relaxing to be here. – The Taste For Adventure

Baylor Canyon | Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument – Las Cruces, NM

Great access to hiking trails on the Organ Mountains and to Las Cruces. Less than an hour to White Sands National Monument. Would stay again! – Mrs. Brent

Fountain of Youth Spa RV Resort – Niland, CA

They have activities, jam sessions, concerts, etc going all the time, every day as well as two pools and several spas. – Walt_C
