Four hundred fifty two campgrounds received 5 star reviews in March. Check out some of the highlights below.

Chattahoochee Bend State Park – Newnan, GA

I had the most peaceful time here. Quiet, safe, clean with lots of trails to walk. Come here with everything you need as civilization is literally miles away. – Lisa

Yoakum County Park – Denver City, TX

Electric, water, and level site for FREE! Pretty view of a small pond and the golf course. We were the only campers here. Thank you, Yoakum County! – Bette

Painted Canyon – Mecca, CA

(1) unlimited hiking opportunities, (2) peace and quiet, (3) brilliant skies at night. This is the kind of campsite we would pay big bucks to stay. – Plstype

Table Mesa Trailhead Area – New River, AZ

This is a wonderful location to be able to get to Phoenix for the day. The sunsets are beautiful and the hiking/biking trailhead is close with the trail running right past where we camped. – LivingWithTheEssentials

Lees Ferry Campground – Marble Canyon, AZ

Wow, this place exceeded our expectations. The small campground is tucked between the towering Vermillion Cliffs and the mighty Colorado River. – WatsonsWander

Oldhams Campground, Ute Lake State Park – Logan, NM

We selected a site in Oldham Circle, right on the water with a Ramada, picnic table and water. Enjoyed a BBQ and awesome sunset. – AJ

Trimble Park – Mount Dora, FL

Believe the hype! This is by far one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Also worth mentioning this is the quietest Park I’ve stayed in. Will definitely return to this park ASAP! – LyndseyV

Cedar Glades Park – Hot Springs, AR

There are miles and miles of biking/hiking. It was just outside of downtown Hot Springs. I would imagine it gets busier in summer but it was a lovely place to stay! – hannahrae87

New Brighton State Beach – Capitola, CA

Site was incredible – arguably the best in the campground as it is closest to the bluffs and has the most open view. – Fables and Trails

Wright’s Beach Campground – Bodega Bay, CA

Likely our favorite beach camping spot so far along the coast, as you are literally backed into the beach (and not parked parallel to the beach, tail-to-tail like many other campgrounds). – Fables and Trails

Valley of Fire State Park – Overton, NV

This campground is fantastic. The sites are spaced out well and most have a lot of privacy, with quite a few pull-throughs available. The views of the surrounding rock are gorgeous. The park itself is phenomenal. – Gone Streamin’

Kissimmee Prairie State Park – Okeechobee, FL

This was my 4th trip to Kissemmee Prairie park, and I’ll keep coming back. There is always a lot of wildlife to see and this trip was no exception. We saw some falcons, turkeys, a gator nesting area and we even heard coyotes….of course there are deer and raccoons! – Boyscout 57

Quail Creek State Park – Hurricane, UT

Great place on a beautiful lake only minutes from hiking at Red Cliffs. Campsites were clean. Fire pit was perfect. Even had a covered table. Gorgeous sunrise here. Would definitely stay again. – Stace and Charlie

Rancho Grande – Bahía San Luis Gonzaga, BC, Mexico

We enjoyed our week stay here. Great palapa with a concrete floor. Right on the beach. Enjoyed some great days paddling out to the island, saw whales, enjoyed the quiet nights under the stars. – Scott

Milo McIver State Park – Estacada, OR

We loved the campground and were even more impressed with the wide array of recreational opportunities. – Teddi & Roger

Plomosa Road – Quartzsite, AZ

Plenty of room. Excellent sites. The wash was hard sand, and perfect for a daily walk. – John T

Ridge Road Campground – Elephant Butte, NM

We found a great spot near the water and the sand was firm. We made our own fire pit and couldn’t see anyone from where we were. – FarreninWander

Willow Springs Trail – Moab, UT

Road is a tad rough coming in but just keep following it back until it makes a big circle. There are plenty of campsites for large to small rigs. – Fulltimexplorer

High View Park – Ennis, TX

Gorgeous landscape. We backed up right up against the lake in a mostly-level site. Will probably stay here again, especially for only $14/night. – jlbirt

Lower Burnt Corral – Roosevelt, AZ

Little Pee Dee State Park – Dillon, SC

Pro tip: take a shower here. The shower-heads are awesome, the water pressure is great, and the water is HOT. And the bathrooms are clean as a whistle. – Annie

Fossil Falls Campground – Little Lake, CA

The views from Fossil Falls are awesome. You have the Eastern Sierra peaks to the west, Red Hill cinder cone to the north and the lava fields dotted with green sagebrush and wildflowers everywhere else. – Michael & Imkelina

Midway Campground – Ochopee, FL

Great NP campground with spacious sites. Each with a picnic table on a level concrete site. Clean facility. Lots of hiking. – Airstrada
