We stayed there in our Westfalia and it was the perfect wild camping experience. The lake is great for kayaking and there is even a fun 6 miles bike/hiking trail around the lake! – Road it up

Plaskett Creek Campground – Big Sur, CA
The best part of this spot (other than it was available and nice), is that is 0.7 miles walk to Sand Dollar Beach. – GinaDog
Vista Linda Campground – Jemez Springs, NM
In the middle of many attractions along the Jemez River this place is an absolute gem. The view of the mountains and cliffs is stunning, especially as you watch the sun slowly reveal them in the morning. – Jeff-n-Deb
Long Point Provincial Park – Port Rowan, ON, Canada
We stay at Long Point at least once a year – it’s our favourite summer holiday spot. The Park is nestled amongst the dunes on the Long Point Peninsula on the northern shore of Lake Erie. – Andreas
