There’s no denying that U.S. travelers are camping more than ever. In fact, a recent KOA study found that 56.9 million households camped in 2021, an increase of nearly 15 million households since 2019. And of those campers, more than 9 million households were first-time participants in 2021.
As the camper population increases, campgrounds and glampgrounds are answering the demand with new locations and expansions. Whether you’re camping for the first time or a seasoned traveler, here’s where you can find new campground and glamping locations opening in 2023.
Glamping Locations Opening in 2023
Since 2013, Autocamp has created glamping experiences that “bring high-end, boutique-style amenities, mid-century modern design, and welcoming hospitality to some of the world’s most beautiful natural places.”

While official opening dates have yet to be posted, travelers can expect the other new locations to follow suit later in the year.
AutoCamps are known for premium experiences in the outdoors with idyllic accommodations nestled into the surrounding nature with upscale amenities and dreamy experiences.
