There’s no denying that U.S. travelers are camping more than ever. In fact, a recent KOA study found that 56.9 million households camped in 2021, an increase of nearly 15 million households since 2019. And of those campers, more than 9 million households were first-time participants in 2021.

As the camper population increases, campgrounds and glampgrounds are answering the demand with new locations and expansions. Whether you’re camping for the first time or a seasoned traveler, here’s where you can find new campground and glamping locations opening in 2023.
