Myrtle Beach State Park – Myrtle Beach, SC

We really enjoyed this state park. The sites aren’t on top of each other and there was plenty of trees for shade and privacy. – Rachel

I think the best part of this campsite was the location, with a short bike ride away (10-15 minutes) to one of the nicer beaches of our trip. – GabrielOnTheMove

Uranium Flat | BLM – Mexican Hat, UT

It is out in the middle of nowhere but that is also what’s appealing. We stayed right under the hat so we had awesome views all around. Great stars. – Guyncognito

Fruita Campground | Capitol Reef National Park – Torrey, UT

This lush green campground has shade trees (but not so much that solar power generation is impossible), adjacent orchards, flowing river water sounds, prolific deer, and delicious fresh baked goods just steps away. We loved it. – Zamia Ventures

I arrived here after dark and there were no reviews so I had no idea what I was getting into. It was a beautiful spot to wake up in. No issues whatsoever. – Brenda & Linus

Jennings Ferry | Army Corps Of Engineers – Akron, AL

The Jennings Ferry Campground is typical of the Army Corps of Engineers: pristine, spacious sites with water and electric, no sewer at each site, but there is a convenient RV dump in the park. Very quiet & peaceful, but off the beaten path. – Bill Lollar

Collier State Park is a very nice full service campground. They have full hookups, tent facilities, and horse facilities as well. Beautiful setting right next to the Williamson River. – Short Short Trailer
