We just happened to snatch up one of the best ones, right on the edge of the bluff, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Quiet (this time of the year) and well kept, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. – Van-Tramp

Rincon Country RV Resort East – Tucson, AZ
An amazing amount of activities are offered to residents and transients alike. Residents seem very friendly and hospitable. I would strongly recommend this place for a long term stay. – MrSafetyToo
Goose Island State Park – Rockport, TX
Goose Island State Park is a nice quiet park with wildlife (mostly birds), nature trails, fishing pier, and access to the Aransas Bay for kayaking/fishing. – SprinterTexans
Dead Lakes Recreation Area – Wewahitchka, FL
We were totally surprised by this site. It’s beautiful, very clean, and well taken care of. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, this is your spot! – nuventuretravels
Forest Road 687 – Tombstone, AZ
Beautiful peaceful spot up against the mountains. It is about a 30 min drive on a pretty rough and bumpy road…but so worth it. Get to Tombstone in 20-30 min. We love it! – The Family Can

Campo Turistico #1 – San Felipe, BC, Mexico

Deep Creek Preserve – Arcadia, FL

It is beautiful desert terrain, mostly flat and hard packed. The real beauty is at night when all the stars come out. You are far from all the lights of LA and can see all the stars! – Slboch
Sierra Vista Campground – Las Cruces, NM
This is a small BLM campsite in the newly designated Organ Mountains – Desert Peaks National Monument. We stayed for a week and had a handful of other campers and hikers come through during the week but still felt a great deal of peace and quiet at our site. – NomadicNeighbors
Chiriaco Summit-Patton Museum – Chiriaco Summit, CA
This place is free dry camping! The sites are back behind the General Patton museum. The museum is awesome, $6 or free for active military. – Robert and Michelle
Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site – El Paso, TX

Indian Bread Rocks – Bowie, AZ

Nelson Creek Recreation Area – Circle, MT
I stayed at Nelson Creek Recreation Area on a summer weeknight, and it’s perhaps the best boondocking spot I’ve ever been to. – webster
Sutton Campground – Florence, OR
This was a lovely campground in the Siuslaw National Forest. Many spots have fantastic privacy with thick vegetation (super tall trees). – webster
Bastrop State Park – Bastrop, TX
The campsites on the loop by the playground are pretty darn new and all pull-through. They are up on a ridge so there is a little of a view. – Stinapete
Lithia Springs Park – Lithia, FL
There are also open/public areas with grills, playgrounds and natural springs you can swim in. There is a creek for canoeing as well! – RNYC
Oliver Lee Memorial State Park – Alamogordo, NM
The views to the west across the desert are amazing, and the Sacramento mountains behind the camp are picturesque and also the start of some great hikes. – Annie
West Ironwood Road – Cochise, AZ
Walking distance from a small climbing area and lots of other beautiful spots through a 4 X 4 road. It is just over 2 miles from the campground and trailhead for Cochise Traverse Trail. – Road it up
