Ortona Campground has it all. Water views, fishing pier, concrete pads, water and 50/30 amp on-site, dump station, blazing fast cell service, WiFi adjacent to the laundry facility… – Lou

After a long trip this made for a comfortable camping experience with restrooms just steps away, and a brewery just a short walk across the entry bridge. – mwy0002

La Cueva del Pirata – Camalú, BC, Mexico

For 150 pesos electrical and water included in the camping spot, AMAZING views, and a restaurant that had the best food we had so far in Mexico. – Our Adventuring Life

Blue Heron French Cheese Company – Tillamook, OR

Fun stop in a great location with lots to do nearby. Business is a Wine and cheese shop with lots of other specialty sauces and snacks. 2 night max. – boondockinglife

Granite Gap | BLM – Animas, NM

Worth the 10 mile drive off the I-10 freeway. We are just boondocking our way from TX to CA so this is a nice break from Walmart & rest areas. – Chris

Orlando SE-Lake Whippoorwill KOA – Orlando, FL

I think we lucked out and got the best site, it was definitely the most spacious. We spent the entire weekend fishing, kayaking and sitting on that swing. Very relaxing. – LyndseyV

Maverick Ranch RV Park – Lajitas, TX

Stayed here while visiting Big Bend National Park, awesome location and RV Resort with access to the resort across the street. – BagoLoveBus

Cattail Cove State Park – Lake Havasu City, AZ

We came for one night and stayed the maximum 2 weeks. We have booked for next year. Best state park I have stayed at. – Canadian Bunny

Alafia River State Park – Lithia, FL

This is a gem of a park. Access the best bike trails in the state from your campsite. We participated in an excellent interpretive program… – Chris Judd

Crooked River State Park – St. Marys, GA

Perfect basecamp for a visit to Cumberland Island National Seashore. If you can select Campsite #11, you won’t be disappointed! – TWO PEAS AND THE POD

Pecan Grove RV Park – Austin, TX

Can’t beat the location! We were able to walk into downtown Austin from our campsite. Overall, a great spot. – Journeying Jacksons

Salton City Dry Camp Area – Salton City, CA

Parked down on the old lake bed about 150 yards from the water. Highly suggest checking this out if you’re in the area, just stock up on supplies before you get in the area. – Fulltimexplorer

Coachwhip Canyon | Anza-Borrego Desert State Park – Borrego Springs, CA

This is the perfect base came for exploring this little slice of heaven. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed on our 3 month trip across the desert. – Brian

St. Lucie South Campground | Army Corps Of Engineers – Stuart, FL

The Army Corps of Engineers maintains a great park with playground, picnic tables, seating along both sides of the Okeechobee Waterway. – Lou

Palmetto State Park – Gonzales, TX

The trails meander through an amazing mixture of swamps filled with palmetto trees, meadows full of wildflowers, forests and along the San Marcos river. – The Moores

Rock Port RiversEdge Campground – Rock Port, MO

This was a nice, simple RV park far enough off the highway to be quiet. We were just overnighting but would definitely stay here again. – Brad & Angela

Hoh Campground | Olympic National Park – Forks, WA

Camping under the dense drapery really makes you think about what the forest was like before it was untouched by man. – Fables and Trails

Skyline Regional Park | County Park – Buckeye, AZ

This park was stunning in late February and so peaceful during the week (except for the occasional jets from Luke which my husband enjoys) and at night. – The Cappy’s

Little Black Creek Campground & Park – Lumberton, MS

Beautiful campground surrounding a lake! Sites along water have wooden deck (some of these have easy access to lake; others are on a bit of a hill). – JulieA

Lake Vermillion Recreation Area – Canistota, SD

13E in the West Campground was a good lakefront site with good privacy and space on the driver’s side. We would love to stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area. – Brad & Angela

Logandale Trails | BLM – Logandale, NV

I had a nice sandy campsite with a picnic table and fire ring. Free camping with a 14 day limit. Rad spot. – boondockinglife
