Beautiful and remote spot off of Hwy 103! Easy to find and highly recommend. We woke up to a beautiful Bull Moose grazing his way through our campground! – Tarrell

Roberts Landing
Roberts Landing – Cheboygan, MI

Roberts Landing has wonderful views of Lake Huron, Mackinaw Island, Bios Blanc Island and the Mackinaw Bridge. This is a very clean, well-kept, and professionally managed RV resort with courteous caring staff. – PopBob

Cliffside Park Campground | County Park – Racine, WI

This campground is a sewer away from being perfect. We’ve been fulltime RVing for 5 years and there are only a handful of places that have it all. This is one of them. The only thing missing is sewer. – The Globe Trekker Family

Kring Point State Park
Kring Point State Park – Redwood, NY

What a lovely campground! Right on the water, perched on rocks, amazing sunset. Walked over to the day-use area and watched turtles and muskrats swimming. Very nice bathhouse. Highly recommend! – Shackleton

Miners Flat BLM
Miners Flat | BLM – Loomis, WA

Great Free Site Next to River. We parked under a tree near a fire ring and enjoyed the bug-free, windy evening, listening to coyotes hooting and hollering nearby. – Emily

Loved it! 100% delighted with this stop! We were welcomed and enjoyed wine tasting and shopping in the store. This is a great boondocking spot and we are grateful. – Travel

Meadow Lake
Meadow Lake | Salmon-Challis National Forest – Leadore, ID

Off the beaten path, through the mining ghost town of Gilmore and up 2,000 feet, on a gravel road, you will find US National Forest’s, Meadow Lake Campground. 17 nice gravel sites, overlooking a glacial lake with stunning views. One of the most scenic NF campgrounds we’ve been to. – DeeDee315

Twin Lakes Campground
Twin Lakes Campground | Army Corps Of Engineers – Pendleton, SC

My first campsite as a full timer! Lake Hartwell is a very petty lake, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first spot in my journey! – SaltyDogRV

Lanse Township Park
L’Anse Township Park | County Park – L’Anse, MI

My wife and I loved this place. On this trip, we’ve stayed at a total of 3 sites on the Great Lakes and this was our favorite of the three. – Da

Kendall Camping Area
Kendall Camping Area | San Juan National Forest – Silverton, CO

It looked nice from the pictures, but pictures were nowhere close to reality. This place is gorgeous!!! And in the end we stayed 8 days. If we could we would stay longer. 🙂 – Live More!

North Fork Big Wood River
North Fork Big Wood River | Sawtooth National Forest – Ketchum, ID

Amazing free camping near Sun Valley Idaho. Have to drive a ways down to find a good spot. Luckily there are a ton of spots to choose from. Our spot was about 30 minutes from town. – Apost099

Sweet Briar Lake | County Park – New Salem, ND

It is clear that the county takes care of this place. Thirty minutes to Mandan / Bismark with tons of services. We really liked this place and would stay again. – J and T

Owens River Road Inyo National Forest
Owens River Road | Inyo National Forest – Mammoth Lakes, CA

Stayed here mid-July. Large turn around site, pretty flat & easy access. Remote but can see others off in the distant. Very quiet. Road was smooth coming in and had great access. – Cindy

Massasoit State Park
Massasoit State Park – Taunton, MA

Beautiful well maintained campground in state park. Many hiking trails throughout with easy access and difficulty. Have to say that this was our dogs favorite campsite yet. They and we did not want to leave. – Lacibeau

Keechelus Lake
Keechelus Lake | Dept. Fish & Wildlife – Snoqualmie Pass, WA

We were looking for a quiet spot, off I-90, to commence early morning travel through the Bellevue/Seattle metro area, while still avoiding the worst part of the commute. We didn’t have any issue with freeway noise and had a very peaceful night. – Jim

Arrowhead Provincial Park
Arrowhead Provincial Park – Huntsville, ON, Canada

Arrowhead Provincial park is an absolute Beauty. Sites are very private, spacious, nestled into natural forrest. This is truly a place to camp if you enjoy “camping”, nature, hiking, trail biking, kayaking, canoeing, camp fires etc. – GabrielOnTheMove
