Lenhardy Cutoff Dispersed | Pike & San Isabel National Forest – Buena Vista, CO
We stayed overlooking the mountains in a very large open space just before the road turned to the right. Sunset was fantastic and as a bonus we had the luck of seeing a moose. – Dirt Roads & Sunsets
Forest Road 687 | Coronado National Forest – Tombstone, AZ
The Dragoon mountains are gorgeous and there is endless hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. – Blake
Umpqua Lighthouse State Park | Oregon State Park – Winchester Bay, OR
I was just so lucky to get a great spot. It was located on the lake side of the park. 1 mile trail around the lake was beautiful with old growth trees and plants. – Missy3602
Atlatl Rock Campground | Valley of Fire State Park – Overton, NV
Valley of Fire State Park is incredibly beautiful and interesting. A beautiful campground and a bargain at $20 regular and $30 for hookups. – RudiOnTheRoad
Glory Hole Recreation Area | Bureau of Reclamation – Angels Camp, CA
Very nice CG. I was there in late Feb 2020, and it was nice and quiet. The only noise pollution was geese honking 24/7! – GlenSanMarcos
Magnolia Park | County Park – Apopka, FL
A lovely, lush county park inhabited by a flock of “who the hell do you think you are, I was hanging out in this spot first” peacocks. The giant rainbow birds didn’t bother us, but they also weren’t bothered by us. It was excellent. – Liz & Jake
Brantley Lake State Park | New Mexico State Park – Carlsbad, NM
We loved Brantley Lake State Park. The views were great, the sites were fairly level, everything was spacious, and even with neighbors we never were disturbed. – Jakki&Ron
Maternity Well Group Campsite | Las Cienegas National Conservation Area – Vail, AZ
The Empire Ranch/Cienguita NCA is simply incredible. Stunning views, cooler weather, coyotes and wildlife everywhere. – Boondachshunds
